The Joys of Parenting is a website that was created by Cherice McGlone.
Mission Statement: In order to work towards preventing teen pregnancies teenagers need to know that the shows that are put into place to give the real story on teen pregnancies and motherhood are not 100% realistic.
Objectives: The purpose of this website is to educate young teenage girls on the myths the tv shows presents.
Goals: The goals for this website are to try and shed light on the fact that tv shows such as teen mom and 16 and pregnant are actually glorifying teen pregnancies instead of encouraging girls to avoid it. To give young teenage girls insight in to the facts about the shows.
Audience: I will be addressing America as a whole because they are the ones that support TV shows like this, But I will mainly be addressing young teenage girls to show them they are being misled with these TV shows.
Methods of distributing information: There are multiple ways that information will be dispersed about the topic such as twitter, blogger and facebook.
