Friday the 18th started off as any normal Friday. The weather was nice and tons of people were using their blackberry "ubertwitter" app to update their friends to their whereabouts.Suddenly those same people were seeing error messages and were urged to download new apps because their current uber app had been suspended. Twitter stated that they suspended Ubertwitter because ubertwitter had violated policies by changing user's tweets and allowing direct messages to be over 140 characters. Ubertwitter instantly put together plans to comply with Twitter's requests. They made the changes and on Sunday night the new Ubersocial app was ready to be used by hundreds of overjoyed blackberry users

lol i read this article before..this is funny in a way. when twitter started their own company, competing with Facebook. Facebook didn't do anything to stop them, and now that they're being competed by UberMedia. They want to stop them... the only thing all this websites companies care about is money anyway lol.
